New look...

A special thanks to Amber's friend, Julie, at Blogger Boutique for the new custom blog design. Isn't it cute?!  Trucks and tractors make this little guy happy! He loves to see his pictures next to all those cool trucks! Also, please notice the donate button on the top right sidebar. These donations go directly to a bank account in Reiss' name. There are going to be so many medical expenses, over the next few years, so we're hoping this will help ease the burden for the Timothy family. Every little bit helps. The blog isn't the only thing getting a new look! :) Reiss is changing everyday and has the cutest, and roundest face! He has had a much better week than last. He still doesn't move around much, as his body and hips just ache, but he is content watching his shows and sitting with mom on the couch.  His favorites being Hotel Transylvania, and Dora. :) He also has a new favorite that he has recently discovered. It is the "Eat" episode of Yo Gabba Gabba! "Yummy in my Tummy! That made me laugh!

Amber tries to get him up and outside, either for a walk in the stroller, or sitting on the porch waiting for the kids to get home from school, but he usually doesn't feel up to it.  The doctors said this would be normal.  She says that he is really cute and in the middle of the night he'll wake up and yell to her from his bedroom (because he can't/won't get out of his bed because of the pain). This is their conversation:
Reiss: MOM!!! (yelling down the hall at 4:30 am for his midnight snack)
Amber:(exhausted and not wanting to get up, calls back) What buddy?
Reiss: I am full!
Amber: Ok buddy. Go back to sleep.
a few minutes pass
Reiss: MOM!!
Amber: What buddy?
Reiss: I am HUNGRY!!!
He keeps confusing the words hungry and full.... but most of the time he means hungry. :) Its usually about an hour ordeal in the middle of the night to get him something to eat, change his diaper and get him back to sleep. Such a sweet boy and what a loving and patient mamma this little guy has. Love you Amber!

Kenny started his new work schedule this week, which consists of 8 days on and 6 days off.  He is so grateful for this new job and how kind and understanding his boss has been. What a blessing! This picture was taken the night before he started his 8 days on.

CUTE story:
Reiss LOVES chips and salsa! They ran out of the yummy salsa they had from Bella's, so Amber just gave him a different kind she had in her fridge. He started crying and saying "NOT THAT ONE!!". He wanted BELLA'S salsa! Reiss man has refined taste when it comes to salsa! I can't blame him!

Hi sweet Boy! 

Granny is on her way to spend the weekend with them. I'm sure it relieves a huge load off Amber's shoulders to have her there! I know it would me.  We have the best mom ever! :)
