Just want to note that the docs have been amazing (as always). They told my mom they have never seen a child so content and comfortable with grandma at the hospital. It's very apparent Reiss and Granny are as thick as thieves. :) I think she deserves the gold medal for "Best Granny Award"!
They also commended Amber and Kenny for taking some time for themselves. It is SO hard for them to do this, but also so necessary. Although it started out rough, the docs reassured them that Reiss was okay, and encouraged them to stay in FL. Now that he is headed home, they are able to relax a little more!
Thanks again for all the love, prayers as support! They were felt! ;)
I am so relieved that he was able to recover so quickly and is heading home. What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteI love that, "Best Granny Award"! Reiss definitely has some outstanding family members.
P.S. I'm loving the new picture in the sidebar. What a heartbreaker! That smile!
Erin, thank you for keeping this blog and keeping us updated. I follow Reiss closely. Amber I have a son Thomas who is also 3 and a little towhead. Amber this week my youngest sister Katie who lives in Provo found out that her nephew Beckham (3) was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer stage 4. They have found cancer behind his eye, abdomen, chest back and cancer cells in the bone marrow. He starts treatment next week at PCMU. He is related on her husbands side and I don't know how things work up there, but I thought maybe you could be on the lookout for them. I know the Mom Sarah is struggling to say the least. We will continue to pray for Reiss and you!
