Reiss is doing SO much better! On Monday he started feeling better, and ACTING better. He was a grumpy boy there for a while! His ANC was still very low at 100- so he didn't have to go to clinic for chemo. He will continue to be on an antibiotic (given through his port every 8 hours) until his ANC is up to 500. They will check it multiple times throughout the week.
Yesterday, we were all SHOCKED to learn that his ANC jumped up to 812 in just three days! Hooray!!
This means he will get to go off that darn antibiotic!

Funny little story Amber told me. She said that although they shaved his head last week, the little buzzed hairs had started to fall out.... leaving bald patches all over. Just like a baby, he rubbed a bald spot in the back of his head from where he lays. He would grab little clumps of hair and just pull them out. One day they got out the duct tape and started rubbing it all over his head to get some of the hairs out. He thought it was so funny! He finally got to take a bath last night and Amber finished all the little hairs off with a razor. His little head is is smooth and soft. Sweet little guy. I love him!
